Day 6: Best dancer in Infinite

Hoya and Dongwoo. I know, I know, Hoya is THE Dancing Machine of Infinite (albeit self-proclaimed LOL) and he is main dancer and all and it’s just a widely accepted fact that he’s the best dancer. BUT. You can’t ignore Dongwoo either. He has a different style from Hoya but I love both. And I love when they dance together. No, seriously, shipping aside (lol) they are freaking flawless together. They are just so in sync with each other, because that’s how well they know each other and how good they dance. Watching them dance (as in, just the two of them together) is just such an enjoyment because you know that they know what they are doing and they’re having so much fun doing what they do. Anyhoo. Me gushing isn’t going to prove my point. So. Videos!

The Mnet dance battle. Of course that has to be there right. I mean, they won that thing lol. I loved their super short Foolin’ Around perf on Inki too. *_____* They just look so happy dancing together heheh. And oh yes, dance practice videos are the best. Seriously, just look at the way Hoya moves. He moves in a different way from the rest of them (pretty obvious in the Be Mine practice video). Anyway, all of Infinite are pretty epic dancers (lol why else are they so known for their dance right), but Hoya and Dongwoo are flawless. They are flawless together. Oops, is my OTP showing. :3 No, really, OTP or not, their dynamics when dancing together are incredible.

Day 5: Best singer in Infinite

I know this is a very, very, very typical answer… but I’m still going to go with Sunggyu. It’s not that Namu is not epic or anything, I personally feel that they’re all great, but there’s just something about Gyu that makes his singing stand out. Maybe it’s his versatility, or maybe it’s his very easily recognizable voice, but seriously, give him anything and he can pull everything off. I know Namu can too. And probably Hoya but then I don’t really get to hear him sing. And Dongwoo too. (I love Dongwoo’s singing voice SO much ok.) Alright let me go back to Gyu. I love that he used to be in a rock band last time, which means… rocker!! :D But anyways that probably helped him a lot in being as good in lives as he is now. He is not the typical vocalist who appeals to everyone. Seriously. (Just like another certain someone in another group who sings so damn well but is never recognized for his singing skillz. The only difference is Gyu’s recognized, but really his voice isn’t that kind that would make everyone rush to agree that he’s the best vocalist.) ANYWAY. OK I DO NOT WANT TO GO ON ANYMORE SINCE I KEEP REPEATING MYSELF. SO. Let me just link some Gyu perfs that I really like. Or rather, some Gyu perfs that explain why I chose him as the best singer. Day 4: Your favourite Infinite cover

I was thinking of Gyu’s solo covers but… nope, it’s gonna be this. Cover of Trey Songz’s Can’t Help But Wait by Sunggyu, Woohyun, Dongwoo, and Hoya. I was going to put their 바보 cover instead but! I don’t know, it just seems kinda boring since they keep singing that anyway and then I remembered this. Honestly, I wouldn’t say this is their best cover, but I just really like it a lot. Even though their English pronunciation is lmfao. Well, it’s okay because… it’s not just about the pronunciation, but more of the way they sing, and… man, this sounds gorgeous (for the most part). To me, at least. Dongwoo and Hoya’s rap is obviously not their best (not even close) lol but they’re so cute with their lyrics on the paper. Also… it’s a WooGyu+YaDong cover. Seriously this is such an awesome combination ok. I admit that makes a big part of the reason I love this cover as much as I do haha.

Day 3: An Infinite song that reminds you of someone

Yakisoba! Nothing’s Over :D Hahaha and if I remember correctly… it should be this exact perf on 26th March 2011. Why… Because I was in Hong Kong then, and I know on the day with Music Core, I was trying to stream it live but I don’t know why the streaming was so horrible even though HK had better internet than Sg. -.- I shared a room with my soulmate Elle~ And then Karen (aka my other soulmate) was over, and then we were attempting to watch MuCore because there was gonna be BB. LOL. Yakisoba was one of the first songs to be performed once I even got the stream started, but then it was so laggy anyways. -.- Anyhoo that’s not the point. The point is I was there going YAKISOBAAAAAAA~~~ (Seriously I can sort of remember the scene lol.) But yah so it ended up the stream was too shitty and we didn’t get to watch BB but then I somehow got Yakisoba stuck in my head all day after that lol. I guess it’s kind of apt though, Nothing’s Over~♪ My soulmates I love you two. :3

Day 2: Your favourite Infinite song

Do I even need to explain? Seriously the first time I heard this song I didn’t even know what to feel about it because it just sounds gorgeous yet so heartbreaking. ;____; And then I read the lyrics and T___T I wish they had more live performances of this song though. :( All I could find are the fancams from their fanmeeting/showcase and this one that they sang on radio. (Why didn’t they sing this more often on radio shows anyway?!) Honestly if I could ever listen to them sing this in real life, I will just bawl on the floor or something. Everything about this song is perfect, plus I can never get enough of Dongwoo’s singing voice.

Day 1: Your favourite Infinite member and why

I have two, actually. Sunggyu and Hoya. Let me just start with Gyu first.

Kim Sunggyu. He was the first member of Infinite to catch my eye because of his lack of eyes hahahaha and well yeah he just sort of stuck. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s the same age as me of course. But what really made me like him so much was his voice and his hamster cheeks. :3 I really want to know what he stores in those squishy cheeks of his. （*´▽｀*） Anyway, yes, his voice. Clazziquai’s She Is used to be one of my favourite songs and when I heard his cover I was just like, omg I must stan this guy forever. He does ballads so well and his voice has this unique tone to it that makes it so recognizable and makes him stand out. (It also makes him sound kinda cute though lol.) He’s the oldest in the group yet sometimes he’s just such a little kid. (Especially when he’s with Namu.) But he’s still the most responsible leader. That episode of Sesame Player in which he sort of scolded the members? Yeah omg my love for him increased thisssssssss much after that. (Never mind that it’s partly because I found it really manly. Heheh :X) He is the cutest grandpa ever when he smiles and it’s like, when you look at him smile, somehow you will smile along too and it just makes your day that much better, you know? And then when he’s being serious and all, he’s the hottest hamster you will ever see. :3 Alrighty, moving on to Hoya.

Lee Howon. Oh my god. Is there anything this boy can’t do?! Because I really want to know. (Okay he can’t teach literature but that’s not the point HAHAHA.) Since I’m a very late Inspirit, the first time I really looked at him was in the Be Mine MV and that is where it all started, although I do remember him from Yakisoba Nothing’s Over days since I really liked his hair then despite not knowing him yet. For a while I thought that was it, that I would stan him instead, but no, I refuse to give Gyu up lol. Never gonna give you up~♪ ♥ Ok, back to Hoya. :X On top of all his mad skills, (Dongwoo has mad skills too but let’s not go into that because stanning two people in a group is tiring enough already lol) Hoya is such a girl cutie pie. Sesame Player was the first variety programme with them that I watched, and right from the start I was in love with him because of the way he walks, the way he speaks, well… generally just the way he behaves. I don’t know hahaha. It’s just… he’s so lovable. (＾▽＾) I like that he’s so suspicious of everything. So adorable lol. OH. And I LOVE the way he laughs. Not exactly the way he laughs, because that would be Gyu, but more of the sound of his laugh. I want to just glomp him. (And then of course the way Gyu laughs makes me want to glomp him too.) Anyhoo. His on-stage charisma is just a-may-jjing. He’s so different on- and off-stage that I can’t even understand sometimes. But regardless, I love him either way.

There are probably eight hundred thousand other reasons I stan these two but this is getting kind of long. :X So I’ll just end by saying that. Well, maybe it’s a bit too early to say this but, I guess I’ll stan you two for a long time. Gyu & Hoya~ I love you two~ ♥
